Hardware problem

I do not have a OS on this system quite yet, as it has just been put together.

Now then, I'm having some difficulties...everything seems to be wired up correctly, but when I power up the system it runs for just a few seconds then shuts off..and the screen never goes into the BIOS, it just stays black. After a few retries it then decides to power on and stay on and let me set up the BIOS.

Anyone know what the reasoning for this might be? It seems to be powering on just fine now, but it still makes me uneasy about the whole ordeal.

Thank you,
-Xen00b

Re: Hardware problem

Hi Xen00b,

Perhaps, it just needed a few startups to reset itself. ??

If it is running fine now, I would not worry about it to much.

Re: Hardware problem

I see.

Well its been running for several hours now at steady cool temps and its been restarting just fine.

I guess it just had some quirks at first :S
