If your install DVD doesnt have service pack 1 in it, remove 2 GB of your RAM and try again.
Only have 2GB RAM installed when trying to install Vista.
Let us know if this worked.
er..you did install a hard drive right?
yes memory is the most likely cause, but maybe your sli is drawing too much juice
try 1 video card and add the other later
Uh..I think it would be hard to get to that point of the install without one...since that message is displayed after the Vista image has been installed and is trying to intialize for the first time.er..you did install a hard drive right?
Yes, try the removal of 2G's of RAM and see what happens, but can you please also give us the info from this BSOD? The info on that blue screen just may give the faulting module or device and give us a better clue as to what may be causing this. Copy it EXACTLY and post it please.
