| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Folders and Backups In general, what is the difference between the regular (yellow) folders and the Blue folders found under the Personal folder? Is it a read/write control setting? I ask because my external hard drive will not recognize the Personal Folder to back up, but recognizes the Public Folder when using the back up software that came with my Seagate External Drive? Windows Backup Manager does work. So, this is more of a curosity question. Thanks, Al |

| Ultimate SP1 x64 & x86 | Re: Folders and Backups The folders with a blue icon are virtual folders. Files in a virtual folder are not limited to any single physical location on the hard drive, as is the case with traditional folders, but can be in any location. |
