Help Adjusting Folder View

I looked for this under control panel but couldn't find options anywhere.

I want to set a default folder view properties, so that EVERY time I create a 'new folder' it always opens them with same viewing properties.

Example: "View > Details" (Not thumbnails), "Column > uncheck Tags, uncheck Rating, uncheck Date Taken, ect."

Is there anyway to set default folder properties as mentioned above?

As far as I know, not until after you created the New Folder.

If you have a problem with these folder view settings not being remembered, then Method Two in this tutorial will help Vista remember them.

That will most likely solve the problem I experience sometimes when mixing different file formats audio and video into the same folder and that folders window's view get reset.

Using Method Two in the tutorial will set everything to use the All Items folder template, so it should have a created New Folder open with detailed views for you.
