Vista 64 and m2n-sli deluxe

I am have vista 64 bit premium and i have a asus m2n-sli deluxe with a 1.02 Bios

Will i need to update the bios before install of vista? i also will useing 8 gigs of ram. ty for any tips and advice

Best thing to do is to contact ASUS and see what they say....

Unless someone here has that same board and is willing to chime in....

No.

Especially when dealing with your motherboard BIOS you should follow the age old advice of "If it ain't brok, don't fix it!".

You should be able to install Vista x64 without any issue on that motherboard. Update the BIOS only if you have any specific problems that can be traced back to a fault in the original version BIOS.

I agree with the others. I have the same board and i use bios vers. 1203. A very stable board and bios here.
The good thing is it's easy as pie to update the bios with the M2n-sli but i wouldn't.. unless you absolutely have to.
