System Restore Help

I am not sure if it has been discussed before . Last night i though I had a virus Nod32 caught it . But now Nod 32 wont run in the background . I tried to restore to a previous day , and system restore wont work .I tried Msconfig to see if Nod 32 was allowed atr start up , and that wont work neither .Tried in safe mode and tried to system restore it wont work . I trhink I am pretty good around solving issues but this one has me . Any ideas besides reformatiing and reinstalling . Running Vista premium 64 bit

How long did you have the virus? I don't like NOD32 or AVG. Try using trendmicro's free scan to see if your still infected. Avast and Trendmicro have been software.

The Virus was for a couple of minutes . I have done a full scan and comes up clean
