I have two problems that Dell Techs can't seem to resolve. Maybe someone in Vista Forums can help.
1. My disk defregmenter cannot be set to run on a schedule. Even when I change the settings to another day, time etc., it will come up ok but then when I go into it again (Start-Defregmenter) it will say "Never". I read in Vista Forums another complaint like this in 7/07 and Shawn's advise was to go to the Task Scheduler in Administrator and see what defragmenter says there. When I do this, I can't find "disk defragmenter" at all.
2. I cannot use "PrtScn" when I paste it in Windows Mail. I can paste it in MS Office document or in Paint but not in Windows Mail.
The Dell Tech told me tonight that once I download Vista Service Pack 1, it should resolve my issues. I did this but still have the both problems.
Also, I use to be able to see if the "F Lock" button was on or off by depressing it and it would show on the desktop if it was on or off. Now, after the Techs were sharing my PC, it will not show on the desktop. Can you help me with this, too????
I'm operating Vista Home Premium & Windows Mail. If anyone can help me, I would really appreciate it.
