| Newbie Rep Power: 3  |  CreateFile() failed with error 998!! I am trying to create a handle to a HID device. But CreateFile() fails with error 998. The same function call works fine in Vista 32 bit and XP. It fails only in Vista 64 bit. I have unchecked the option in ControlPanel -> User Accounts -> Turn On UserControl On or Off. I have logged in as Administrator. Still CreateFile() fails everytime. Should i have to do anything extra to make it work in Vista x64? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Vainra |
