| Ultimate 64 SP1 | recovery manager and recovery disc Hi all I heard that Vista has its own recovery manager to create recover disc. I was looking through all of my files and could not find and I couldn't find it. I found back up option which I don't think is the same. Reason for this is that my Vista CD is behind a furniture that I can not be bothered to move and get it. It has been there for last three months. So I want to create recover disc.... I will use some of image creation software and create images but until i save some money to buy Western Digital TB external USB HD I need recovery disc. I am not sure if I am allowed to mention this here but there are a lot of torrent offering recovery disc for Vista 32 and 64. Are they OK to use or creating recovery disc from within Vista itself is better option. Last edited by acdcfan; 06-12-2008 at 06:59 AM.. |

Windows Vista Recovery Disc Download — The NeoSmart Files At one point, MS was going to include this in Vista SP1, but they pulled it from the release. -solon fox Is it safe to download? If it is then I will? Does this apply to all Vista 64 bit versions even computers built by individuals at home or only lap tops? |

| Ultimate 64 SP1 | Re: recovery manager and recovery disc Second step requires, If I understood correctly, to put your original CD which I am not able to provide due to reasons mentioned above. Havins said it I do have a tool that will extract CD-key if you don't know it, which in my case I don't. So downloading ISO file which I have burnt, bring my question again. Thsi woudl be like a unversal recovery disc for 64 bit. Condiering that I am running Ultimate will this work on my current rig, not that I want use . |
