I have vista buisness, and it won't load. I have to restart at least twice and restart it via safe mode. I am a real noob when it comes to this so please forgive this novice question.
Does anyone have an idea whats wrong with it or a route i can take to attempt to find out whats wrong?

It gives me a black screen and won't load for a while. I noticed after i posted someone on this forum had the same problem. Are there any updates to that problem?

Hi,

There are a number of reasons why a system fails to boot correctly - loose or faulty hardware, corrupt files on the hard drive, missing hardware such as keyboard/mouse or a missing peripheral such as a scanner or printer depending on how your PC is configured are just a few examples. In order for someone to better assist you with your problem, please post back with full specifications of your system, including any peripherals connected to it.

Hi,

No. What I meant was your system hardware. Model number of your motherboard; make, speed and amount of RAM; CPU; keyboard/mouse; printer/scanner. With that information, we should be able to track down the latest drivers for you to see if we can solve the problem. If not, then we shall have to look along other avenues.

Hey VeNoMzRevenge, welcome to the forum!

Hers's a quick down and dirty option that might save some time and trouble. Try using the Vista Windows Recovery Environment. Start with the 'Startup Repair', if no good try 'System Restore'.

Good Luck.:)

I dumped windows vista buisness. It wasn't for me. Now I have windows vista home premium 32-bit. All the problems I previously had with buisness are gone. Once again I like vista. Buisness didn't read any of the devices I had like games controls or a a wireless keyboard and mouse reciever. It always asked for the drivers I know i installed. After I bought the Homepremium with SP1 on it I have had zero problems with anything I do with the computer (knock on wood). Except when i try to play my first person shooter the dude is always aiming up.

I am happy with vista once again.

Sorry to hear you had to buy a new os. Never had any of those problems on my vista buisness x64 sp1. Runs like a top.

Anyway, it is good to hear you are back up, running and happy again.:D
