Restart, shutdown, etc. missing from start menu

Ok my problem is that suddenly some of the entries disappeared from the menu that comes up in the start menu, I have googled to see it there is a solution and it was not, tried system restore, and I even replaced patched uxtheme (and other) file(s) to the originals. Ill attach my CBS.log from the sfc scan. Images of the problem below.

Re: Restart, shutdown, etc. missing from start menu

I am not sure why, and I am not an expert in reading CBS.logs, but it seemed to me that there are *way* too many entries for things that were fixed.

I would get some HD diagnostics from your HD manufacturer, and check the HD 0- and if all goes well, then re-install.

Using uxtheme may occur a lot of problems with sp1.

Open gpedit.
Go to User configuration/Administrative templates/Start menu and Taskbar/
set the remove and prevent access to the shutdown ........... to its default value.

Re: Restart, shutdown, etc. missing from start menu

That would be a lot of help - let's see what your current status is in regards to the cbs logs and try the suggestions given to see if you can get it fixed - obviously, a reinstall takes tie and you want to avoid that if possible....

Re: Restart, shutdown, etc. missing from start menu

I gave them all a try, did a chkdsk and scanned my disk to see if it was going bad but nope no problems there. And I have the new log attached. From what I can tell the only corrupt file is shellbrd.dll if nothing works ill just try a repair install and if that doesn't work clean install ftw.
