Hello guys, This is my first post on the forum. I installed windows vista PREMIUM 32bit a few days ago and a couple of hours ago i just got the first BSOD. the reason i upgraded to vista is because i had some BSODs in Windows XP that i couldnt figure how to solve. I've analyzed the .dmp file using debugwiz prog and got a .txt file as a result. the problem is i have no clue how to look at it. hoping for your help. much appreciated nir.

Many possibilities but to start with, verfy that your bios and drivers are up to date including the sata drivers.
Could be also a memory problem, especially if you had already BSODs with XP (on the same machine i suppose) so run a memory test also.
Apparentely some of the drivers your system uses are very old.

thanks for your reply I did run a memory test a few days ago.. no errors were found. about the drivers i just dont have any other drivers to use since ive been using the drivers from the manufacture website. I also checked for bad sectors in one of my hdds but all went ok.. this sucks.

Could be a flaky motherboard. Did you try resetting the BIOS to default and reinstalling from scratch? Do you have any new BIOS revs? Do you overclock? If yes, don't.

Thanks for the link for driveragent sidney1st that was very helpful. I've changed my network card driver to the manufacture original driver and so far no BSODS. Many thanks SCSIraidGURU and sidney1st u've been very helpful! :):) cheers.
