| 32 bit home premium | Highlight multiple files I previously had a problem selecting (highlighting) more than one file at a time. I solved this by deleting two files from the HKCU registry key. These were the BAGMRU and BAG files at: HKCU\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell This works but the problem I now have is these two files keep regenerating themselves. QUESTION: How do I keep these two files from regenerating themselves? Or do I need these files for some other function that I don't know about? |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Highlight multiple files Hello Thom, You cannot stop Vista from recreating these keys. They are used to store the Windows Explorer Folder views in. Deleting them, resets them when Vista recreates them. Windows Explorer Folder View settings This is another method in fixing the multiple select problem. Select Multiple Files Fix Hope this helps, Shawn |
