| Newbie Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Autoplay doesn't work Hi: This is a basic question, so I've searched for an answer here but didn't find one. I just did a clean install on my dell with vista home premium (32). Everything works fine except no music CDs, DVDs, or software CDs will autoplay. I've changed the settings in CP to different selections and it still doesn't work. Any ideas? |

This reg download will reset the AutoRun settings in the registry so it is back to the default On and Enabled settings. This is what is inside the reg file. Code: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer] "NoDriveTypeAutoRun"=dword:00000091 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\CDRom] "AutoRun"=dword:00000001 1. Save the reg file to your desktop. 2. Right click on it and click Merge. 3. Approve all of the pop-ups to apply. Hope this helps, Shawn |
