vista x64 very long boot problem

Hello everyone,

I'm new to the forums and I have a problem with my computer. I have windows vista x64. I accidentally clicked sleep instead of shutdown and I couldn't wake up my computer so I pressed the reset button. Now my system takes about an hour to boot up and it won't connect to my network anymore. It boots up fairly quickly in safe mode, but when I choose safe mode with networking its still really slow. After the computer boots, I can use it normally but the network connection doesn't work and it won't find my network when I search for it. I tried system restore to a time before the last windows update and that didn't help it either. I tried to use the boot disk to repair my system and that didn't work either. What could be happening to my computer? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks for the help :).

System Restore. Things are horribly corrupted is what it sounds like. Just do a full system restore, or if a semi restore to a previous time works, go for it.
