Hi

Welcome to the forums.

First, we need to see if it will start in Safe Mode, that will confirm if the installation is intact or not.

Restart the machine and immediately start tapping the F8 key repeatedly until you come to a Boot Menu screen, then use the arrow key to highlight Safe Mode and then hit the Enter key. It should ask if you want to start in safe mode, hit Enter again. If it starts up you will get a black desktop with really large icons and the words Safe Mode in every corner. Post back if this happens and we can go from there.

A few questions about this still, how old is the machine and is it still under warranty?
Do you leave the machine on all the time, and if so do you have the AC power adapter plugged in all the time or are you under battery power?

You may be faced with a Boot Device screen as well, it may ask you something along the lines of "what drive do you want to boot from"? If this happens, you need to select your Hard Drive Disk and then continue to tap the F8 key until the Windows Boot Menu appears.

If you don't encounter a screen before the Windows Boot Menu, don't worry about it!

Ok, try rebooting your PC again so you get to the Boot Menu. Try selecting the "Boot Using Last Known Good Configuration" or something along those lines, that may get you into your OS normally.

You want to select the first one, then start tapping F8 again to get to the Windows Boot Menu.

If you can get the option to boot to safe mode, you can go into Start > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore and convert back a few days to where the laptop was booting. You can also try to boot to safe mode and run a chkdsk on the hard drive.

Click start > run
Type cmd
when at prompt type chkdsk /R /F c: This will tell you that the drive is in use and can be ran when the computer restarts. Restart and let the utility run. This will search for errors that are showing on the drive and maybe even let you know that the hard drive is failing if bad sectors appear. This can also been done through a Bart PE bootable disk that has the command prompt available. A search on google should be able to turn up if someone has a disc already created to use. If you are unable to find one, i have one that i would be willing to send to you to try but try googling first.

Safe mode works sir,but which is better should i system restore it back one month or should i run a chkdsk on the hard drive? isn't it that if i system restore it in a day that the loptop is working it will going to fail again unless i delete what caused the problem. And what is Bart PE bootable disk im not really familiar with this. But sir thanks for info god bless..
