i ve vista 32- bit..i used printer 1018 which was working probably with my previous XP but with vista it seems not...it gives me a msg when i plug the printer in as that the USB not recognizing the driver...ive downloaded the vista supported-drivers from HP web site with also no resopnse... so what to do .. is trying a hub which i connect it to the USB port in my laptop..then i connect the printer to it.. and it works....here i would to ask if i could connect the printer directly to USB ports of my laptop without using the hub....N.B. it is a self powered hub ....so any suggestions..
