What add-ons and extensions to you have installed for Internet Explorer?

In the meantime, try resetting Internet Explorer to the defaults like this:
  1. Click "Tools", then select "Internet Options"
  2. Click on "Advanced"
  3. Click on "Reset"
  4. Read the information given, and if you are sure you want to proceed, click "Reset" again.
Report back if the problem with the "Red X" goes away. The "Red X" error is typically there to tell you that a specified image could not be loaded. These could mean any number of things, but are typically a fault in the design of a webpage, or Internet Explorer has been told to not load images.

Also, another to try would be to install another browser such as Firefox 3. Restoring the defaults might help bring the security levels back to a normal state as well. If you go to
Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > under Multimedia there is a show pictures, make sure thats checked.

There is also a restore advanced defaults there that would hurt to hit.

Tried still getting debug error messages when I go to www.racerx.com.

I went to www.racerx.com and IE7 did give be a script error, but it didn't ask to debug. Perhaps if you disable script debugging you can at least get rid of that annoying popup?
  1. Click "Tools", then "Internet Options"
  2. Click "Advanced"
  3. Add a check to the "Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer" option under Browsing
  4. Click OK
ie_script_debug.jpg

Does that help?

At the very least, if you're inclined to do so, send an email to the www.raxerx.com webmaster, and inform them that whatever scripting their site is using, there are some bugs with it that are causing errors with Internet Explorer...

I sure hope you can help me with a urgent problem. I keep getting the kiss of Death Blue Screen. Here are the numbers I am getting. I have ran a couple of memory checkers and no issues.

The first thing to remember is when chaning topic like this, it's actually best to begin a new thread. Just kep that in mind for next time, ok?

But anyway, when you get the bluescreen, does your system automatically restart, or does the BSOD remain onscreen untill you reset the computer?

To make it stay onscreen, do the following:
  1. Open Control Panel
  2. Click "System and Maintenance"
  3. Click "System"
  4. In the left pane, click "Advanced System Settings"
  5. Under "Startup and Recovery", click "Settings"
  6. Remove the check from the "Automatically Restart" option
  7. Click "OK"
  8. Click "OK"
  9. Close Control Panel
The next time you experience a BSOD, it will remain onscreen untill you reset the computer, long enough for you to read the information it gives.

Specifically, what I'm interested in is whether or not it mentions a driver filename of some kind. That will be your first clue as to what is causing the BSOD.

Stop 0x7F is an "UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP" is can be caused by both Software problems or hardware failure.

Possible resolutions:
  • Stop 0x7F messages are typically due to defective, malfunctioning, or failed memory hardware. If you added new hardware recently, remove and replace it to determine if it is causing or contributing to the problem. Run diagnostics software supplied by the system manufacturer to determine if the component has failed.
  • Running the CPU beyond the rated specification, known as "overclocking," can cause Stop 0x7F or other error messages due to heat buildup. When diagnosing problems on overclocked systems, first restore all clock and bus speed settings to the manufacturer recommended values to determine if this resolves the issues.
  • The problem might also be due to cracks, scratched traces, or defective components on the motherboard. If all else fails, take the system motherboard to a repair facility for diagnostic testing.
  • Stop 0x7F messages can occur after installing incompatible applications, drivers, or system services. Contact the software manufacturer about possible Windows specific updates. Using updated software is especially important for backup programs, multimedia applications, antivirus scanners, and CD mastering tools.

I have already made the changes to hold the blue Screen. I did not see any referance to drivers. Just memory. Is there anyway to do a screen print of the error message?

Unfortunately no, other than using the old-fashioned method - pen and paper.

Have you tried some of the tips I provided in my previous post?
