I need help something wrong with my windows vista

recently my windows vista had an update of the service pack, n this happens...

when i clicked the window color and preference and sounds, it only pop out the appearance window while it suppose to go to this page below

can someone help me pls?
and even more i cant open my games.. is it all this got to do with the graphic card?
btw im missing the Windows Vista Standard option in the first screenshot

Hello Arakai,

Check to make sure that your WEI score is refreshed. That would be in the Control Panel (Classic View), Performance Information and Tools icon, Refresh or Update My score if the score number boxed in gray instead of blue or below 2.0 .

Next, make sure that you have Windows Aero selected as the color scheme in the first image and it should return the next time you open it.

If it still does not help, then try reinstalling your video driver.

Make sure you try *uninstalling* your old driver and then installing the latest one.

Also, wouldn't hurt to check the card itself - it may be FUBAR'd.
