| xp/vista64 | rundll code to close current window I need to create a desktop shortcut to a rundll code or something that will close the current window - e.g. another way to perform "alt-f4" or "ctrl-w". I have a programmable keyboard and want to use a single key to close the focused window. thank you, |

| Windows Vista x64 Ultimate | Re: rundll code to close current window Do you have the utility software for your keyboard installed? And can you not just assign <ALT>+<F4> to the key you want to use for close? |

| xp/vista64 | Re: rundll code to close current window The software is MS Intellitype 6.2 with a wireless laser 7000 keyboard. There are touch sensitive keys that can be programmed, but only to a file. There is a 'close' button on that keyboard, but it only works on certain windows, usually ones without input commands (OK, cancel, apply etc) I know the rundll code exists, but it's not commonly used. The other option is to use some macro program that could type "alt-f4" through a script file. |
