Another activation question

I installed Vista yesterday. At install time, it asked whether I would like it to become activated automatically. If I recall correctly, it explained that activation would occur in three days.

I have decided to buy a few more components for my PC and I would like to prevent Vista from becoming activated prior to these components being installed. Therefore, I need to cancel my request for automatic activation.

How can I do this?

Actually, you can safely activate without worrying too much about your new components. Unless, of course, you're planning such a drastic change (like a new motherboard, perhaps) then you'll need to re-activate.

But if you intented to add a few extras, or change you video card, then those changes will not interfere with activation.

I would still prefer to wait until the system is final before activating. Does anyone know how I can cancel my request to activate in 3 days?
