Location: Vegas Baby | Question about Iphones.. OK, so I know this is not the best place to ask, but I'm sure there is Plenty of us Forum goers that have Iphones.. they are EVER so popular, and everyone wants one.. So My question is about unlocking them. If you've ever unlocked an Iphone please read this and let me kno some info. I have T-Mobile. and I know they don't have the iphone, but you can unlock the phone. and then use it with tmoble.. But I heard that the Iphone Software and applications only work through AT&T. thats no good. So if I unlock the iphone I can't use the web browser, I can't use the GPS. none of that unless I am with AT&T.. that doesn't sound right. Tmobile has all that stuff.. I would think that it would work. so If anyone has some info on the unlocking and how all that works would you please let me kno. as I'm wanting to buy the NEW iphone and unlock it for my use on t-mobile. but only if I can use everything. otherwise it's just ur average phone. So Please share some info if you know anything about that.. Thank You. |

| Re: Question about Iphones.. I too , have a Blackberry. A pearl (actually 2 of them). ![]() A friend just got the new Iphone and while it's a nice phone and all , he's had nothing but problems with activation and updating it. The apps he's downloaded from the Apple Store (via Itunes) have caused major problems. Hence,he's had to reinitialize the phone (essentially reformatting the phone and starting from scratch). He also mentioned that the 3g Phone doesn't have the same battery life as his older Iphone. Not to get totally o/t but the new BB BOLD looks awesome. |
