Using files saved on a 32bit system

I'm planning on building a new computer (MSI X48Platinum, Intel Q9550, Patriot 8GB 1333, Radeon 4850, 2 VelociRaptors Raid 0, Antec P182 case, Corsair 650W PSU) and obviously Vista Ultimate 64 to support the RAM. My wife is really into PhotoShop. She does all her scrapbooking, blogging, along with other random projects in PhotoShop. I like videogames. So, 64 bit sounds like a nice fit. My only question, and I know this is a really dumb question:
My wife's laptop has Vista Premium 32bit. Will she be able to use saved files from the laptop on the new desktop I'm building?

CS2 and CS4 are 64-bit and run great. You can't run any application that is 16-bit or has a 16-bit installer in 64-bit.
