Couldn't create a system restore point in Vista

I try creating a restore point in Vista, but it wouldn't allow me, it gave me a message. I'm using operating system Windows Vista Business 32-bit and also I have dual-boot . I have Windows XP Media Center. I get this message:


Could not create the scheduled task for the following reason:
The request is not supported. (0x80070032)

Hi Chow2rich,

This happens if the Windows Event Log and the Task Scheduler services are disabled.

This tutorial will show you how to Start and set these services to Automatic.

Services

Also, if you are dual booting Windows XP and Vista, then each time you go into XP it will wipe out restore points on Vista. That is one of the reasons I run XP as a virtual operating system on my Vista Ultimate pc using Microsoft's free Virtual Pc 2007:
