Hidden Text

I am having difficulties reading a notepad file created under Windows XP. The text seems to be there but hidden somehow... I am now using Vista Home Edition Premium can anyone shed some light on this for me.

Try highlighting the entire file(select all) and change the font.
Try loading it into a different text editor.
