I made this.
Here is my problem.
I have recently got a Vista laptop, 32bit. I am somewhat new to actual hard ware, i just got a job apprenticing as a tech help guy. but my laptop seems to have died!
it loads up, and the screen is fine with the boot up. however, after it boots up, right before the "loading vista" screen, the computer screen goes dark, and nothing happens. now, i have tried doing a system recovery, and i'm trying to find the setup information, but the only one of it i see in the system32 folder doesn't contain any system information!!!
this is really bugging me, i got this laptop as a gift. i haven't connected to the internet so i know it isn't a virus.
So can somebody help me?

Did you try to boot in safe mode?

Try this, remove the battery and the power cable, hold down the start button for about 30 secs, then battery back in power on and see if it works.

Something to do with discharging the capacitors.

Have you already tried doing a Startup Repair to see if can find and fix the problem?
