Vista Ultimate SP1 - readyboost

Does anybody knows why since windows update installed sp1, the readboost service tends to "freeze" the computer after 30 min of activities. It happens like that : if i work with ie7, word, excel opened on a 3go ram + 4go readyboost computer, suddenly if i try to swithc from xls to ie7, the system is frozen. If i remove the sd used for the ready boost, the systems wakes up and all is fine again...
Thanks in advance for any advise on this which did not occured prior sp1

Hello calabrache.

Some have said "Readyboost" isn't worth the trouble with 32-bit Vista.
You will get better results adding more RAM.

Just my two cents.
