Get vista install disc for £6 ($10)

YOU MUST HAVE A VALID VISTA LICENSE KEY FIRST.
I haven't been thru. the whole process as I already have a disc,but for those who need one, as far as I can tell, HERE'S HOW;

If you have a 32 bit retail license go to the link below, you only need your license key to get a 64bit disc- you only pay for the cost of the disc and postage - £6 in uk- I guess about $10 US.

If you have a 64 bit retail license you should also be able to get a disc - as far as I know your product key won't identify you are already running 64 bit.

If you have 32 or 64 bit OEM version you could try it but I think it's only for retail versions. Maybe you have a friend with a retail license who could get one for you. As far as I know you can install with any disc as long as you use your own license key (Maybe someone can confirm this?).

Untill someone gets hold of one we won't know exactly what this disc is - I suspect it's an upgrade disc - that's ok you can do a clean install with that - instructions are on this site under tutorials.

HERE'S THE LINK : www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-vista/compare-editions/64-bit.aspx

Must thank TOMD for helping me find the link thru. uk magazine PCAnswers -check them out at www.pcanswers.co.uk

Let me know how you get on with this
