| Vista Home Premium 32 bit | reset usb port I have inadvertently unplugged my HP webcam from the usb port with out using the safely removal thing. Now my webcam is not being recognized by my computer. I have tried using my other ports and have the same result, not being rocognized. I have read some where that you could reset the usb ports and this would fix it. Is there any truth to this and if so how do I go about to reset usb port. I had the same thing happen to a mp3 player but had to replace mp3 player and all worked. Does this mean that the usb port is bad or the webcam is bad. Totally confused. |

And showing us where you read the USB port reset would be helpful, as I can persaonally say I have never heard of a "USB port reset" |
