page disappears when Mouse moved off page

When I have a page open on the desk top and then I open another page. As soon as i move my mouse pointer off that page to do some thing else that page disappears to the bottom and then I have to click on it again to come back. The only way i can keep the page there is to keep my mouse pointer on that page. Help please

Can you be more specific? A page in what, Word, Adobe Reader, Firefox, IE, ...?

Re: page disappears when Mouse moved off page

any thing I open. If I have say email page on the desk top and then I open say any thing I click on. It opens, but if I do not put my curser on the item I opened up right away it disappears to the bar below. If I click on it and bring it back to the desk top and if I do not put my curser on away it goes.

Re: page disappears when Mouse moved off page

It sounds like you have enabled a "bring window to top on mouse over" feature - check your mouse properties / settings to verify.

Re: page disappears when Mouse moved off page

I went to control panel, Mouse and went all through the settings on the mouse properties and I cannot find any where to check what you thought it might be. Is there some place else i should be looking?

Some other software that may be providing that feature to you, such as a desktop configuration / modification program, a Linux emulator in Windows, specialized Mouse software (Microsoft Intellipoint / Logitech Setpoint), etc.

Re: page disappears when Mouse moved off page

No worries. And if it is a Logitech mouse, did you look in Control Panel for your mouse settings or *Logitech SetPoint* for your mouse settings?

If you are not using Logitech SetPoint, I recommend that you do....it may seem like a large and bloated POS but it really makes those mice work a *lot* better.

Re: page disappears when Mouse moved off page

tried the control panel and mouse settings. that was no help. As to Logitech Set Point I have no reason for that big download with no idea of what i am getting into. appreciate your help sincerely.

To each their own. Personally, I don't understand buying product and not using that products' driver, but it's not like it has never happened.

Also, have you checked to make sure your buttons are function correctly?
