Does anyone have any information about a Lightscibe burner that will burn to CD+R, all I can find is CD-R burners.
Preferably Sata link

Seems to have beaten everyone.

OK, How about any burner that will burn CD+R.?

Re: Lightscribe burner.

All of these appear to be what you're looking for - Newegg.com - Lightscribe cd-r, 48X, SATA, CD / DVD Burners

Re: Lightscribe burner.

Hi Wysiwyg,

I have the Samsung SATA SH-203N DVD RW with Lightscribe that burn to DVD+R and more. You can look it up here under Products with the model number.

ODD Support

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Re: Lightscribe burner.

Both posts only refer to burning CD-R, I'm looking for CD+R burner, do they exist, or am I wasting my time.

At present I have a Samsung Lightscribe S203p, which will only burn CD-R.

Even willing to fit an extra burner just for CD's, if it will burn CD+R.

Re: Lightscribe burner.

Wysiwyg,

I think you may be wasting your time. All I can find out there in both a DVD or CD only drive, old and new, is support for CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW. There is no CD+R or CD+anything support out there.

Sorry,
Shawn

Re: Lightscribe burner.

Correct - DVDs first introduced the concept of the +R versus -R - if you go to CDFreaks.org you'll see there is no such thing as CD+R.

Re: Lightscribe burner.

I always thought that the crop of new dvd burners could burn every type of disk with ( depending on your burner) the occasional exception of ram disks
