Re: Permission problems?

Hi, conner2u, and welcome to the forums.

If you cannot do any of those things then something is wrong with your computer. Without more information all I can suggest for *truly* fixing it in a one stop is to format and reinstall Vista from scratch - because , after every install I ***CAN*** run programs download anything online use my voip telephone anymore make temp files

I highly suggest that you give us more detailed explanations of what is going on and what you have tried to do to fix it.

Re: Permission problems?

If you reformat your computer, then yes you will lose everything that is currently on the hard drive. Like john said, we need a more detailed explanation of what is going on, what programs you are trying to run, and what you have done to it. What did you mean by you being able to make an administrator account on the computer? By default, the main user is the administrator of the computer. More details of everything please...

Best thing to do is to check.
Download this program: http://download.hijackthis.eu/HJTInstall.exe
Install it and run it.
A log file will be generated, attach it here.
