Hello passnthru2.

This may sound like a dumb question ...

Does that happen with all "Zip" files or just one; if it's just one
are you sure it's not something that has been installed before?

I did that one time, what a mess ... :o

The only way I could get out of it was a http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/76905-system-restore-how.html

Hello Passnthru2,

In addition to Ted's post, be sure to select a restore point dated before the problem.

An alternative to try first, is to see if restoring the default ZIP file settings in the registry can help. This tutorial will show you how to. If it does not help, then a System Restore should.

Hope this helps,
