| Vista Ultimate x64 | Re: Another sleep issue i guess i better tell you the symtoms..... if the pc goes to sleep by itself and i wake it it wakes up fine... however for some reason if i leave it over night and try to wake it the next day, the system will lock up coming out of sleep. The power light will be on full, and nothing.. fans spin up and then it sits there. I have to pull the power out, and then i see the pc saying it is resuming, or sometimes it tells me pc was not shut down properly etc etc |

| Vista Home Premium 32 bit | Re: Another sleep issue I too have had a similar problem with sleep mode on my comuter. It had only done it a couple of times in about a years time. What I did when my locked up like that was hit the windows start button on the keyboard. After doing that, computer came back online and started working fine. I have still yet to find what caused the problem in the first place. |

| Vista Ultimate x64 | Re: Another sleep issue if i leave it about say less than 30 mins about it has gone to sleep it wakes up fine......... however if goes longer than that the problem occurs on wakeup. I have even tried extending the delay in which it will go back to sleep after unattended wake ups. In the BIOS i have no voltage settings for memory or cpu which i would rather set rather than the motherboard auto detecting. Does anyone know if there is a button press or sequence you can get these optiosn on the motherboard i own ? AS i would like to see if it is a voltage issue coming out of sleep etc etc. |
