    Upgrade Nightmare!!!

    Ok guys, here's the deal. I upgraded from Vista Home Premium to Ultimate on Jan. 19, 2008, via Windows Anytime Upgrade. Last Fri. my hard drive took a crap on me. I re-installed my Home Premium, but there is nothing showing in my digital locker. My bank debit shows the $159.00 debited to Microsoft on that date. Wouldn't Microsoft have a record of me activating Ultimate? They say no....I say yes....LOL. I don't want to get screwed out of my money, plus I want my program. Any ideas? Thanks

    Here is a link to phone numbers for activation (volume licenses I know) for Microsoft. Yes you will get an automated thing but it gives you an option to speak to someone who should be able to help you out.

    I've emailed every possible email addy and called every possible phone number. No luck. They say to go to Digital Locker. It shows nothing. I have my receipt from the online upgrade purchase, but they don't seem to care. They have to have a record of my activation. Right?

    I purchased my original Vista 32bit Anytime Upgrade through Digital Locker - and I just checked and it is still there.
    Go to Digital Locker (use IE, as it has some really weird cookies that Fx may stumble on)....Windows Marketplace: Software & hardware for the Windows operating system

    You should see, under Your Software, your purchase.
