I just finished a fresh install of Vista Ultimate x64 and after setting up my drivers, I installed Adobe Reader 9.0. To my disappointment, I have no thumbnail previews of .pdf files. I've double checked to make sure "always use thumbnail instead of icons" was checked in the control panel and checked everything else I could think of. I even went back and uninstalled 9.0 and reinstalled 8.0 to see if it was a problem with the latest update. Both the installs were done with standalone installers. This is my first x64 install (using x86 Vista previously), is this an issue with x64 Vista or Adobe? Anyone else experience this? I looked at ditching Adobe altogether and using Foxit, but it apparently doesn't do thumbnail previews either. Man the stuff you take for granted after a while...
