Pop up dialogues?

Pop up folder windows . I hate them. you know the ones I'm talking about. When I move my mouse over a folder or file and a pop up dialogue box jumps up right over the folder I'm trying to read through. It's annoying and intrusive :shock: I don't need Vista to give me a window explaining the contents of the folder or file. I already know what's in there and if I wanna know the size, I'll right click - properties. How in the world can I turn off those pop up dialogues? :huh:

i think it's this, try it out.

Tool tip is the pop up window that opens up when you keep mouse over something. You can disable this pop up as follows:
1.Go to Start > Run > type "regedit"(without quotes)
2. HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Microsoft > Windows > CurrentVersion > Explorer > Advanced
3. Set the value of "ShowInfoTip" value to 00000000
4. Exit and reboot the system to see the change.

An easy way would be to click on;
My computer,
Tools, folder options.
Click on view.
Unclick on Display folder information in tool tips.
