Totally stumped - my computer has more issue than anything i have ever seen. Can someone tell me how to restore my computer to 30 days previous?? It will only allow me to use the dates it chooses which are too current. If I do the part where you make a date, it doesn't show up in your choices....arghhhh

Just in case you missed it, there should be a box you can check to show restore points more than 5 days old - this is under the list of restore points it displays by default.
If it still doesn't go back far enough then as Shawn says try a repair. If there are a lot of problems then a clean reinstall will make it behave as it did when it was brand new - it is not difficult - see the tutorial for how to do this.
