hp 2410 all in one Scanner won't work

Does anyone know how to make the scanner work, have software that supports it, or such for the 2410 all in one. It worked fine with WindowsME, but when we got the new computer with Vista (Home Premium 32bit) the software won't load. We got the printer to work, but not the scanner.

Please help!!!:confused:

Instead of the cd go to their site and type in your model's serial and find the appropriate driver. The CD's tend to have problems with their drivers.

I couldn't get the drivers for my hp1210 from hp - they say they are already on Vista and don't do downloads. If you have the same problem, try softpedia - they have lots of hp drivers for free download - takes a long time, though.

Before you do that , try uninstalling the printer drivers from device manager, then restart your pc making sure your printer/scanner is on and plugged in - (scanners sometimes need to "initialise " ). you may find Vista installs it all for you with its own drivers.

Look in device manager and your scanner should be under the heading Imaging Devices.
