Uh-Oh are my main components too hot!?!

I have a question about hardware which I am not to savvy with yet. What are the healthy temps for each? And the max? Are the temperatures too high?

it is pretty hot in my room
that will do it however be sure to do what motarola2 said and blow out you PC with compressed air to stopp the fans and cooling radiators from clogging up

How are your case fans set up? Front and side (if present) blowing in, and rear and top (if present) blowing out?

get a better cooler, those temps are ok. but once it gets above 68 or so I'd be worried. a better cooler is a good investment. it always helps. I have a Q6700 with all 4 cores staying under 40C overclocked to 3.5 GHz with a Tuniq Tower Cooler, but you could get by with much cheaper of one.

Or an even better idea. keep the cooler, just take the stock one off, clean it and the CPU off with some Isopropyl Alcohol and some Q-tips. and add Better Thermal Paste.

I got some Artic silver 5. for a few dollars. and replaced my thermal grease with that on my AMD 5400+ 2.8 GHz CPU. and the temps went from high 30's idle to 19C idle.
that was a big differrence. results vary, but a cheap and easy way to get better temps is to get better thermal paste for it. type Thermal paste in Youtube. :)

though within thermal limits...those temps are pretty high for a 6400 @ about 2ghz
invest in an aftermarket cooler if you have not already done so
the stock intel one is pants!!

mine idles around 35c & loads around 65-67c OCed @ 3.2ghz
