| Vista Home Premium 32 bit | winzip I just downloaded the trial version of winzip 11.2. This is the first time I made a compressed folder/file. It was easy to follow but a lot of steps involved. Is there and easier program that is free. If there is one easier and I have to pay for that is ok as well. What is some recommendations that any body might have. I think I posted it the wrong place, sorry. |

| Vista Home Premium 32 bit | Re: winzip I would but I didn't know that vista had it built in. What's the name of it and where can I find it. It is easier to use than winzip. I had to zip a file to my utilities progam manufacturer for some issues I am having. So like I said I am new to the Zip thing, just wanting something easier. Thanks for the help. |

| Vista Home Premium SP1 32-bit | Re: winzip Right click on the file you want to zip. Then select "Send To" and then select "Compressed (zipped) Folder". To unzip, just open the file. S- |

| Vista Home Premium 32 bit | Re: winzip That was easy.... thanks. My next question, clicked on file I wanted to compress, right clicked it, send to, compressed zip file folder and it made a zip folder just under the file I wanted to create. It that normal. If that's the case, then just attach new compressed file to an email and send. Do I have it right? I'm still finding new stuff with vista as well as short cuts, always learning something new. |
