Hello KiffyP, welcome to Vista forums!
Please post the machine specifications and someone will be able to help you.
If you are referring to if you can add a 64-bit CPU to your machine it depends on the
current Motherboard, please list that as well.
1) CPU
2) Amount of RAM
3) Video card
4) HDD

Hello Kiffy, and welcome to Vista Forums.
In addition to Ted's post, you can also check at this link from Microsoft. After you have selected a device or software, select the 64 bit System Type under the results filter options to the left.
Windows Vista Compatibility Center
The main thing is that you will need to have and use 64 bit driver versions for all of your devices with the 64 bit Vista.
Hope this helps,
Shawn

2)2 gigs
3)NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150
4)160 gig with around 100 gig of free space

Kiffy,
It looks like you should be fine to go with those items with 64 bit drivers for the 64 bit Visa. While 2 GB of RAM should be ok, adding another 2 Gb for 4 GB total will give you a nice little boost in speed if you wanted to add any later.
You can also check your other devices and software at that link above to be safe.![]()
