Can't complete Backup

First-- If I am using Home Premium 32 bit should I NOT be posting here>

I've attempted to backup up my Vista Home Premium several times with NO success. I continue to get an error message that the Windows Disk needs at least 400 ? of space. The error message contains these numbers. OX81000014. I've previously backup it up many times with no problem.

Because my external hard drive ( 250 GB ) was getting filled up I had deleted the previous backup a week or so ago with plans to do a manual backup at some later time. But now for some reason it won't complete.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Vegaspat,

If you are using the Backup Files feature in Vista, then these are incremental backups and you cannot just delete part of it. Instead you will need to delete all of them and start over with the backups.

Brink,

I had deleted all Backups before I started. I also read your Tutorial which is very good and exactly what I had been doing.

I did find a link on the web but haven't had time to absorb it all. It seems other have had the same issue. Wonder if it could be to do with the SP1?
