imageres.dll is damaged?

Hi,

Recently I downloaded an icon pack. Well, it turns out I didn't like it, so I tried to change my icons back to the default icons. The problem is that imageres.dll (What I assume to be the vista icons) doesn't have any icons in it anymore. SHELL32.dll is still full, but I am not running XP.

So, does anybody have a replacement imageres.dll that I could download? I googled it, but I don't trust any of the sites it turned up. If I can't install another imageres.dll is there another way to fix my problem? Thanks a lot!

(Sorry if this is in the wrong spot, I'm sort of in a hurry.)

hi IamMe7073! welcome to our family. hehehehe
why dont you try to the restore point in order to reverse the damage and back it to normal. deleting a such folder .dll will be headache. next time, try to rename the folder you want to delete. (imageres.dll.old).
