Re: Help me with my icons

If your Desktop icons are getting corrupted, you need to rebuild the Icon Cache. This tutorial from the Vista Forums will tell you how (you won't be able to see the screen captures on that page unless you join as a member -- try it, it's free! --) but the instructions will be visible:

Re: Help me with my icons

Hi HardKnockLife, and welcome to Vista Forums.

Did you by chance try to change or remove the shortcut arrow from shortcuts before this?

If so, use this tutorial to restore them, then you can change or remove it using this method instead. If you used the old XP method before, it will usually cause problems like thise with the icons in Vista.

Shortcut Arrow

Hope this helps,
Shawn
