Solved How to completely hide a folder

How do i completely hide a folder so that no one can see it.
I can't simply use hidden...
any help

How do i completely hide a folder so that no one can see it.
I can't simply use hidden...
any help

??..... well you could take the said folder & bury it inside one of the many windows folders...

& only you would know its location :)

failing that encrypt it...

Cant you just right click the folder,go to custmize, theres BLANK icons.. ( nothing there but its still an icon..) choose the blank, that will hide the folder... rename to "alt+0160", that will hide the name. You can also use "alt+255" that will also give it no name, but you wont be able to delete the folder unless you use the command window.
To delete the hidden folder,
Hold shift + rightclick on the desktop, click on open command window and type:

ren (space here) "ALT+0160" ( or alt+255 if thats what you used, leave the quotes )then a new name like folder1 or something, hit enter, it will rename the folder and let you delete it

same thing i want, i can't find the the explorer on my regedit: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

Will somebody help me with this. I want to hide one drive that all my stuff in it without having seen by the other's.

I did the alt+0160 and It took over a month to get the damn thing deleted.. it woulnd't leave. lol

other than that just put this Said File on a flash drive like I do. :);)

the problem with burying something inside other windows is that you can still search for it, especially pics and vids. My little brother was horrified when I found his 'stash' on his computer in about 3 secs.

Yeah.. to delete the 0160 thing, you have to cmd promt > ren "alt+0160" newname, hit enter, it will rename the folder so it can delete...LOL
