I need to expand (get bigger) my primary drive where is the OS installed. It's 20GB.
I want to add some free space to let the WIN to run "normally". I have the secondary partition where are the programs and other stuff.
Under disc management i can't expand - the option is grey. What should i do?
Anyone can help me?
I think you will find that the partitioning software built into vista is rather limited. you may find better luck with something like Gparted which runs on Linux from a Live CD. have a look and decide which is the easier option when the reinstall overhead is taken into account, if you've just built the syatem and don't have much software to re-install then it's probably easier. althiough as long as you've got backups of everthing a little time invested with Gparted could be time well spent.
