Reboot Loop When Enabling Memory Hole Remap

Asus A8N32SLI Deluxe board with latest 1405 BIOS. When I enable the memory remap (hole) to have 4GB of RAM available for Vista x64, the computer will reboot right before Vista gets to the login screen.

Without the memory remap switch on only 2.5 GB shows up in Vista.

Also, the BIOS sees the 4096MB of memory fine and counts all of it as usable once memory remap is enabled. I just can not get Vista to boot with that setting.

Any ideas?

Okay I did that, now I am able to set the memory remap(hole) to enabled in the BIOS and boot into windows with the reboot loop. However, I still only see 2.5GB of RAM, and if I try to raise the limit in Max mem setting, it just sets back to 2560MB as soon as I click okay. So it will not let me set it higher.
