OK, this happened yesterday. I shut my laptop down the normal shutdown way, took it home from work powered up and...
Now I have 2 ways to log in, a fingerprint reader and reg password. First I did like I always do and scanned fingerprint and when I logged in it was not my account, it was as if my account was gone and I had none of my setting etc.....just gone. I figured ok, bio-metric reader is hosed, I will log off and log in via password, same problem. It was as if I was logged in under my account but no setting saved at all...nothing.
To fix it I did a restore from latest restore point. Its been fine ever sence, but anyone have any idea what may have caused this ?
