Okay, I am not big with computers and I dont do forums too often because they are a little overwhelming to me. But I really have a frustrating problem and I was wondering if anyone with more knowledge than me on this subject could help me out.
I am just going to list what I have
vostro 1000
vista basic
Dont know if that will change anything but lets get on with it.
1. When my computer sleeps and I wake it up sometimes it will wake up and go directly into my start screen, I dont have to click anything for it to do that and then all of the icons go away and it turns itself off automatically.
2. The more frustrating thing is I will wake it up from sleep then it will give me the option to click the little icon then it logs me on to my startup screen. Everything normal like it should be, but after about 5 minutes the screen will turn black or blue or red and it will just stay like that and I can only turn it off by pressing the button. Very frustrating and I always lose the things I was working on.
Anyone willing to share their knowledge would be really appreciated. I would like to get help with this problem before I send my computer into my garage to be fixed by my excellent selection of sledge hammers. And if any additional information is needed I can give that but I might not know exactly what you are requesting so use laymans terms. Thanks for any help people!!
